The Last Song

I got this book on Saturday for my birthday (IM FIFTEEN!) and I started it yesterday and finished it this morning. I could not put it down. I stayed up till 1:20 last night reading it. It is an amazingly cute, funny, touching book.

Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alientated from her parents, especially her father...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story of love on many levels--first love, love between parents and children -- that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that love can break our hearts...and heal them.

But it's sooo much more than that; she falls in love with a boy in North Carolina and its a story about them and a story of her and her father's relationship but also story of friendship and trust. The movie is coming out April 2nd with Miley Cyrus playing Ronnie. I'm so excited!!

I just wanted to share this with you guys because this is now my favorite book EVER. I was SOBBING while reading it! Also, check out the trailer for it!!! IT looks SO GOOD!

No way, that Nicholas Sparks book is coming in theaters, too?! I'm currently reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks which comes out in February sometime, too...It's pretty good, from what I've read so far. I checked it out of the library so I'd have it read by the time the movie came...

Sounds like a pretty awesome book! :) I've heard Nicholas Sparks is pretty good. I don't think I've ever read one of his books though.
